ATA Spec 300 is a specification that establishes the airline transportation industry's requirements for the design, development and procurement of effective packaging of supplies and equipment shipped to a customer airline.
These requirements also serve as the standards for shipping cases acceptable for air transport.
The tests involved
with becoming ATA 300 compliant are conducted to ascertain
if a shipping case will withstand the rigors of being
shipped a minimum of 100 times.
At Quantum Scientific Inc, we not only meet every requirement set forth by the ATA 300, Category 1 specification guidelines, but every aluminum case we make exceeds these standards. The hardware components and custom foam interiors also surpass every category requirement.
ATA shipping cases from Shipping Case Corporation don't require ball corners, double edge extrusions and clamps to hold them together. Additionally, our cases are constructed from a fully TIG welded, aluminum shell that is 40 times stronger than comparable plywood cases.
